WHQR- National Public Radio- October,2004
We were invited to a local radio station in Wilmington, NC- WHQR. Little did we know when we got there.. it was National Public Radio, aka NPR.
Is that our CD next to that board??? And so we meet the gang for the 11am show, "Soup to Nuts".
You will never guess what happened! Just as we were on the air, the cat got Georgia's tongue! As soon as the "on the air" red light came, we both forgot how to speak.
But pretty soon Georgia was back to her old talkative self.. and we were live and in person!
The folks at WHQR were great! We played a couple of tunes and visited a while but then it was about time to go. Thanks again for a great show!!

Later that night, we were welcomed into WHQR's gallery to play some tunes. We love singing with an outstanding sound system.. wow.
This is none other than our favorite producer for "Hand Me Downs", Karen Kane, aka "mix mama" who kept us in line.. and taught us about music and about healthy foods, while in the studio. She has come out to the gallery to hear the show.
