Vagina Monologues- Greenville, NC - February 2005
Someone's Sister performed during ECU's Production of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues", held at Wright Auditorium. Here is a shot of this year's cast.

This was ECU's fourth year bringing the show to eastern NC- and each year, the profit generated is donated to a cause benefiting women's issues. The proceeds from this year's performance went to Greenville's Domestic Violence prevention program.

The theater held 1200 people and Someone's Sister was ready for a great show.

Georgia Winfree of Someone's Sister, gave a rousing performance, as a member of the cast, in addition to performing with Katherine Jones during intermission.

The evening was a great success for everyone involved. After the show, the audience poured into the lobby.

Lynn Tuthill's community raffle was a hit, adding money to the cause. Someone's Sister was in the house- selling CD's, signing copies, and meeting new listeners.

Katherine is talking to a member of the local news paper, which did a fabulous article on the performance. We love great press!!

As the night ended, the performers went home and the money was counted. The event raised over $10,000 for domestic violence prevention. We will be back next year- and will aim even higher! |
