February, 2006 - V-Day Event- East Carolina University
Someone's Sister helped organize ECU's 6th annual V-Day event that raised over $16,000.00 for The Family Violence Program Inc. of Pitt County and the international movement, VDay.org.
Several non-profit organizations took part
in
raising the awareness
about violence against women.

There were many who made this year's production one of the best. Here the cast gets a last minute talk from their director Georgia, before the show begins.

The show opens with Georgia Winfree, this year's director who also narrated the performance.
Ms. Winfree was the 2006 recipient of the V-Day Warrior Award, in recognition of all she has done to raise awareness and
prevent violence against women and children.
