October, 2005 - University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
We were invited to participate in the universitie's "Sexual Assault Awareness Month".

Here we are checking out the local sites in Chattanooga.

As part of the event, the women's action committee put together the clothes line project where students could design their own statement about prevention of violence on a t-shirt. These were displayed on campus.

Monday night we led the students in a
candlelight vigil.

Afterwards, we had the chance to meet and talk with
many of the students.

Here we are with Sara Peters (on left), the organizer of the vigil and Nancy Badger, Director of the Counseling and Career Planning Center.

Here we are with the university sound crew.

The following day we gave a presentation on Sexual Assault Awareness.

Someone's Sister was honored to take part in an event that spreads the message for prevention of violence.
