Southern Womyns Music Festival- Georgia- May, 2005
We arrived in Georgia at the Southern Womyn's festival after dark, in the rain and had to put up a tent- which we had never done alone before. Yikes. Luckily we found Laura and her crew to help us out.

Things looked much better after a night of sleep and the rain had passed through! The Enota Mountain Retreat was beautiful and very friendly.

making tiki torches can be creative...

So.Wom. Festival had great crafts-

and there was music, and lots of it!

The next day, we got up and headed out to parts unknown.

We found Helen, Ga- a replica of a small German town.

Georgia, Caught in the act!

All that is missing are the full beer steins.

Georgia wants to point out that we did also have a weenie roast over a camp fire the night before.

This site, the Nacoochee Indian Mound was once the center of a great ancient Charokee town.

If you have to drive 8-9 hours, this was a georgous ride!
