Every year local chapters of Relay for Life raise hundreds of thousands of dollars on behalf of the American Cancer Society.
We and our friends walked in honor of Casandra Drake.
Others came to walk for their friends and loved ones.
The night was full of survivors, friends and family.
A special thanks to Shirley Rhodes - who played music around the clock for those who continued to walk.
We caught up with Shirley - a very tired but dligent DJ
at the awards ceremony.
