Recording Studio- Wilmington, NC- April, 2004
Recording with Karen Kane was an absolute adventure! We began the journey in Wilmington's recording studio- Audio Genesis. The studio welcomed us and made us feel right at home.
Next we got down to business!

We never knew how much work would go into this object of art and love.
Here is Georgia in her first role as "director".
Soon, Karen would tell her who was really boss.
As each song unfolded, we found new beauty in our music, thanks to the talent of Karen, and our amazing musical interpreters- Dan, Jason, Tony, and Steve. We never knew we could sound so good.

Living in Greenville, NC, our late night drives would leave plenty of room for the planning that would go into making"Hand Me Downs" the reality we both hoped for.
When we first saw this board, we were in awe. It is larger in real life than you could ever imagine!

Here we are with our buddy Steve and our "mix mamma" Karen Kane. We should have a special section of the web site dedicated to Steve's amazing guitar fingers!

and of course no studio would be right without a mascot. Here is the Someone's Sister recording mascot-
Mich....oh what a face!

We had Karen write out the line up for credits on the CD. At this time, we had no idea what steps
to take next.

We did have a wonderful time- and learned more than we ever could have imagined. The up-coming CD will be a breeze thanks to everyone at Audio Genesis, Karen, the band and many others. You guys rock!
