Laura McLean- CD release Party, March 2005
Laura McLean's CD release party brought out old friends, past students and fellow musicians to help celebrate the release of three CD's - yes, 3 - only the Guru would take on such a feat.
Laura was quick to point out that the event was actually a "CD closure party". The three CD's included- " Fort Starfish " including her popular song, Guitar Class, "Gone Guru", with her new song, Ponywreck , and her latest rap CD - "call me Ms. Whut?". As Laura would say, this three CD set is Fantaazzizzle!
Someone's Sister enjoyed the chance to witness those guitar fingers at work as did many others including Karen Kane, Cynthia and many others.
Here Laura is visiting with a few of her past students from the local "Dreams of Wilmington" program. We believe Laura may have single handedly taught guitar to over 200 people in Wilmington over the years. (And that does not even count those she taught with both hands.)
