December 2004 - CD Release
CD Release Party- Soap Box, Wilmington, NC
In December, 2004 Someone's Sister performed at The Soap Box in Wilmington, NC- and held their first CD release party. With their debut CD, "Hand Me Downs" fresh off the press, sales were going great. Here we are before the show, being interviewed by "The Village Idiot" newspaper.

Meanwhile the crowd came in and found their spot for the show.

Here is our producer, "Mix Mama", Karen Kane and Cyn. who came out to enjoy the music.
.
Someone's Sister was thrilled to see all of the friends who came out in support of the CD.
Here we are with Steve from WHQR-NPR radio show, "Soup to Nuts".

After the show, we spent time signing CDs and talking to the crowd.
The day after the CD release party, a group of S.S. friends got together and spent some time in downtown Wilmington, NC. We met at a local restaurant to celebrate Katherine's birthday. We won't tell you which birthday though.

Later we walked down the waterfront and got into all sorts of trouble.

Here, Georgia and Vickie Blankenship are playing around in the fountain. The weather was nice outside but the water was freezing.

Come on in, the water is fine!!
And here is the crew with Rhenna too. Check out the "Where's Rhenna" page for the dog's eye view of the day.
