NC Women's Jam Fest - October 2004
Several hundred music lovers got together in a field in Nashville, NC for a day of friends, family, games, and yes, music. The weather could not have been better as everyone
pulled together- setting
the stage and pitching the tents.

.
Beth and Rachel welcomed us to their horse farm for the day's event- and so we decided to see how the horses felt about the whole thing.

Hey kitty, do you get the feeling you have
someone watching you?

There goes Georgia, charming another heart!
There were faces everywhere- some new and some very familiar- more like family.

Here we are, chatting with the Clayton girls. Thanks to them Georgia tried her first "Dog Bite"-- beer that is.
"Hey, are you sure this stuff is safe?
I feel a little funny."

And as luck would have it, the hang-gliders dressed just for the occasion! Very cool.
As the night drew closer, the finishing touches for the entertainers were added.
And the music began-
Someone's Sister, from the stage looking out.

Here we are with Chris- aka photo master.
Just a sampling of the artists that played that day - Carrie Stone, Vaughn Penn, ilyAIMY, and Someone's Sister with special guest, Tammy Sommerset.
Others included Annette Warner, and Jess Pironis.

The day was a complete success. Each year, the Jam raises money for a worthy cause. The future can only get bigger and better!
